Real Madrid star Cristiano Ronaldo reportedly contacted Neymar to advise he reject Paris Saint-Germain’s advances and wait for Manchester United.
Reports from Spain claim the messaged was passed from Ronaldo to Neymar via WhatsApp, with the Portuguese telling the Brazilian that quitting Barca for PSG would be a step back, rather than a step forward.
Ronaldo is reported to have added that if Neymar is intent on quitting Camp Nou, he should wait for Manchester United to make another offer and head to Old Trafford, in part because Ligue 1 has less prestige around the world as compared to La Liga or the Premier League.
