Sevilla have completed the signing of highly-rated Brighton youngster Luis Garcia, who had just a year left on his deal at the Premier League club.
The 18-year-old began his youth career at Las Palmas before moving to the South Coast club in 2014, and he now qualifies to play for both England and Spain.
"I thank Brighton for the way they have treated me," Garcia is quoted as saying by Marca.
"As a person I have matured a lot and, in addition, I have improved in many aspects both physically and tactically."
Brighton boss Chris Hughton added on the club’s website: "Sevilla is an exemplary club at the heart of Spanish football.”
Garcia is likely to form part of the Sevilla Atletico squad in next season’s La Liga 123.
