Navas plays down RM exit talk

Real Madrid goalkeeper Keylor Navas insists he has no intentions of leaving the club and is only focusing on winning more trophies at the Bernabeu.

The Costa Rican international’s future has been under scrutiny for some time with Los Blancos constantly linked to other goalkeepers such as David De Gea, Thibaut Courtois and Gianluigi Donnarumma.

"I am very happy to be part of this great club," Navas told reporters at a news event.

"The day of my presentation with the president was one of the things I will always keep in my heart. When you arrive at the biggest team in the world you want to be part of their history.

“Put your country into that history too. That dream remains alive for me, and I am looking forward to winning more trophies [at the club].

"My relationship with Zidane has not changed; it's funny to say that he is giving me special treatment, as it has always been the same.

“He gives us a lot of confidence and is very close. [But] I felt nothing different than the year before."

Navas has made 97 appearances in all competitions for the club since joining from Levante in 2014.
