Uruguayan defender Leandro Cabrera has ended an eight-year stay in Spain by joining Serie A outfit Crotone from Real Zaragoza.
The 26-year-old defender’s move to the southern Italian side was confirmed after a picture emerged of him shaking hands with the club’s director general Raffaele Vrenna.
The central defender enjoyed three years at La Liga 123 outfit Zaragoza following spells with Atletico Madrid, Recreativo Huelva, Numancia, Hercules and Castilla.
Cabrera made four appearances for Atletico as an 18-year-old and made 115 appearances across his stint at Zaragoza.
