Marca: Morata insists on leaving

Marca reports Alvaro Morata is “insistent” on leaving Real Madrid, amidst growing interest from Milan.

Marca is known for its strong links to Madrid, and the newspaper claims he is not only thinking about a move away but has also been “seduced” by the prospect of joining Milan.

The Rossoneri confirmed on Sunday that the Spaniard was one of three strikers that they were hoping to sign, while Gazzetta dello Sport suggests Leonardo Bonucci called his former Juventus teammate in a bid to reunite with him at San Siro.

Morata was recently the subject of a potential transfer to Manchester United, but Los Blancos’ €90m asking price deterred the Red Devils, who ultimately swooped for Romelu Lukaku.

Milan have spent over €200m this summer following their Chinese takeover, and Marca adds talks between them and Madrid will begin “in the next few days”.
