Real Madrid will move to sign Paris Saint-Germain full-back Thomas Meunier should Danilo complete his anticipated transfer to Chelsea, say reports.
According to Marca, the former Porto defender’s likely departure to Stamford Bridge and the 25-year-old Belgian is Madrid’s preferred candidate to replace him.
Meunier impressed for the Parisians in the Champions League this season and scored against Barcelona, with Zinedine Zidane believing he can provide healthy competition to Dani Carvajal.
The move has been made more likely due to the French giants completing the free transfer of Dani Alves this week following his departure from Juventus.
