Olympique Marseille have completed the signing of defender Adil Rami from Sevilla in a deal worth €6m, it has been confirmed.
The 31-year-old becomes the latest high-profile departure from the club following the recent exits of Vicente Iborra and Vitolo, and he will sign a four-year contract at the French giants.
Rami played under current Marseille Coach Rudi Garcia for three seasons at Lille and won the Ligue 1 and Coupe de France Double in 2011, before leaving for Valencia.
The central defender was also reportedly the subject of interest from Turkish champions Besiktas although that move fell through when they signed former Real Madrid defender Pepe.
The France international won the Europa League title with the Andalucians in 2016 and made 79 appearances for the club.
