Carles Gil (pictured left) has returned to Deportivo La Coruna on a season-long loan move from English Championship club Aston Villa.
The former Elche and Valencia winger spent last season on loan at the Riazor, scoring once in 24 appearances and has now returned to the Galicians.
"Carles Gil has returned to Deportivo La Coruna on a season-long loan." read the statement.
"Attacking midfielder Gil will rejoin Pepe Mel’s squad after spending the 2015/16 campaign with the La Liga side.
"Gil joined Villa in January 2015 from Valencia and has made 34 appearances and scored three goals in claret and blue."
The 24-year-old is the second loan arrival at Pepe Mel’s side this summer following Fede Valverde’s temporary switch from Real Madrid.
