Fiorentina join Jese race?

Fiorentina have reportedly moved ahead of Las Palmas in the race to agree a loan deal with Paris Saint-Germain forward Jese Rodriguez, say reports.

The 24-year-old spent four months on loan at his hometown club after failing to make an impression in the French capital and stated in May he wanted to extend his stay with Los Amarillos.

However, La Gazzetta dello Sport now state the Italian club have made an enquiry to the Parisians regarding a potential loan deal although as with Las Palmas, wage structure remains a hurdle.

The 24-year-old made only one Ligue 1 start in Paris before returning to La Liga, where he scored three goals in 16 appearances.

"He and his agent know of our interest in him continuing at Las Palmas for another season," Miguel Angel Ramirez, president of the Gran Canaria side, told Radio Onda Cero.

Jese left the Bernabeu a year ago to join Unai Emery’s side in a €25m move although once again it appears he will be on the move.
