Sevilla are reportedly “hours away” from making Sampdoria striker Luis Muriel their record signing for €20m.
According to Marca, a deal has been agreed for Muriel to join Sevilla after “weeks” of negotiations for the Colombian.
The newspaper explains Samp were never going to budge on their €20m valuation, while Everton and West Ham United were also in the running.
He is expected to land in Seville shortly to undergo a medical and formalise his transfer, although details of his contract have not been disclosed.
