Wolfsburg have completed the signing of midfielder Ignacio Camacho from Malaga for a reported €15m.
Camacho [pictured, right] has put pen to paper on a four-year contract with Wolfsburg and replaces Luis Gustavo, who joined Olympique Marseille earlier in the week.
The 27-year-old will also hold a farewell Press conference at the club’s stadium, La Rosaleda, on Sunday.
Joining Malaga in January 2011, he went on to make 199 official appearances for the Andalusians, becoming their captain and forming a key part of the team that reached the 2012-13 Champions League quarter-finals.
Marca adds Zenit St Petersburg’s Javi Garcia is the favourite to replace Camacho, with talks for the former Manchester City, Benfica and Real Madrid man having already commenced.
