Deportivo La Coruna president Tino Fernandez believes Arsenal striker Lucas Perez will return to the club and they will attempt to sign him this summer.
The 28-year-old was signed by the Gunners last summer in a €19m deal from the Galician club but are reportedly open to selling him for significantly less after just one season.
"I would like for Lucas to return," Fernandez told an interview with Marca.
"I've never hidden the fact that if we could [sign him again], we would. If we can do it this year, we will; if not, it will be next year. I'm convinced that Perez will return to Depor one day.
"It won’t be easy as he has a big contract and he is at a club that paid a lot of money for him."
Perez scored only one Premier League goal last season in two starts and has also been linked with a move to Sevilla this summer.
