Sevilla are reportedly in talks to sign Lille right-back Sebastien Corchia and Aston Villa left-back Jordan Amavi.
According to Estadio Deportivo, Sevilla are keen to complement Mariano with another right-back that offers an attacking outlet, prompting them to revive their interest in long-time target Corchia.
Furthermore, the 26-year-old “hasn’t hidden his enthusiasm about making the move to Sanchez Pizjuan” and negotiations have already begun.
However, the Andalusians are not prepared to meet Lille’s asking price of €5m for a player whose contract expires next summer.
For the opposite flank, ED claims Sevilla are still in for Amavi, despite having an opening bid of €6m rejected by Villa.
Los Nervionenses released Benoit Tremoulinas in the week, leaving only Sergio Escudero as the only recognised left-back on their books.
The English second-tier club are demanding €12m for the defender, who has attracted interest from Monaco and Paris Saint-Germain.
However, the newspaper believes Sevilla will raise their offer and can satisfy Amavi’s desire of Champions League football and playing in a top European division.
