Real Betis have completed the signing of Levante midfielder Victor Camarasa, with Alex Alegria moving the other way on a year-long loan deal.
The 23-year-old has signed a five-year deal with Los Verdiblancos after excelling on loan at Alaves last season, while Alegria netted three goals in 25 league appearances last season.
“I’m here to be happy and take Betis where it belongs,” Camarasa told the Betis website.
“There were some other options, but I wanted to come here and I’m very eager to get started.
“I’m young but I know Betis and its history, this club must go back to where it belongs and that’s why I’m here, not just because they trust me.
“I want to make big things in football and I think this is the perfect place.”
Camarasa is the second signing of the summer for Betis after the arrival of Osasuna striker Sergio Leon.
