Experienced goalkeeper German Lux has left Deportivo La Coruna after a decade in Spain to rejoin River Plate, say reports in Spain.
Marca pick up on multiple reports in the Argentine press that the 35-year-old is undergoing a medical with the Argentine giants on Monday with an official announcement expected the following day, according to TyC Sports.
Lux spent six seasons at Depor and has been first-choice goalkeeper for the past two seasons, starting 25 La Liga fixtures last campaign.
The former Argentina international spent four years at Real Mallorca prior to his move to Galicia, where he played 114 times and completed 37 clean sheets.
The goalkeeper will join up with River ahead of their Copa Libertadores clash with Guarani of Paraguay.
