Mbappe to break up BBC?

Monaco starlet Kylian Mbappe has reportedly been assured that one member of BBC will leave Real Madrid to accommodate him.

According to L’Equipe, Madrid Coach Zinedine Zidane and President Florentino Perez met Mbappe and his father in person and used two “compelling arguments” for why Los Blancos would be the right move.

One was the club’s ambition to make him the best player in the world, while the other was a guarantee that he would be a first-choice attacker – and one part of BBC being sold, in a sure sign of their intent for the teenage forward.

However, it will not be Karim Benzema, who is “untouchable”, more so in light of Alvaro Morata’s likely departure to Manchester United.

That leaves Gareth Bale most at risk, although Cristiano Ronaldo could yet move on if his tax issues with the Spanish state are not addressed soon.

Arsenal are also said to be “crazy” for the 18-year-old, with manager Arsene Wenger even going to the player’s home to convince him.

However, AS believes the Gunners’ pulling power has been diminished by their failure to qualify for the Champions League, while Mbappe is considering switching sponsors, from Nike to Adidas – the latter of which are Madrid’s kit manufacturers.
