Paris Saint-Germain midfielder Marco Verratti was pictured holding Catalan newspaper El Mundo Deportivo in a hint he may want to join Barcelona.
The 24-year-old is on the front of Friday’s edition of the pro-Barca publication holding Thursday’s copy which proclaimed he was a target for the Blaugrana.
“I’m sorry, but I can’t talk about my future right now,” Verratti, who is currently on holiday with his family in the Spanish island resort of Ibiza, told the paper.
The report explains Verratti and agent Donato Di Campli “prefer to remain silent” to reporters after they reportedly let it be known to the Parisians they wanted a move to the Camp Nou earlier this week.
