Marco Verratti and his agent dined with Barcelona star Lionel Messi as speculation increased over the Italian moving to the Camp Nou.
On Wednesday the midfielder reportedly told friends it was ‘now or never’ if he was to join the Catalans and details of such a meeting are likely to add more fuel to the fire.
According to Cadena Cope, both players are currently enjoying a holiday break in Ibiza and the meeting was organised by PSG’s Argentine forward Javier Pastore.
Verratti’s agent Donato Di Campli shared a picture of him enjoying a drink with the 24-year-old, captioned ‘just one thing’ which fans could interpret of them sharing the common goal of wanting a move.
Reports in the Spanish press claim Barca could pay up to €80m for the midfielder but the Parisians have no desire to sell.
