Tottenham Hotspur have an option to sign Espanyol goalkeeper Pau Lopez on a permanent basis but this will expire at the end of June.
Lopez has completed a season-long loan stint at White Hart Lane, without making a first team appearance, having moved from the Catalan club last summer.
"He [Pau] is a Tottenham player until June 30 and they [Tottenham] have a buy option until then, which they can exercise," Espanyol club delegate Ramon Robert is quoted as saying by Marca.
"If they don't, Pau will be an Espanyol player."
Last month, Diario Sport reported that Spurs had offered ‘just over €2m’ for the goalkeeper despite his valuation coming closer to €7m.
