Chelsea striker Diego Costa has hinted he may be open to a move to Italian giants Milan by stating they ‘are a fantastic club, with an impressive history’.
Having been told by Blues Coach Antonio Conte he was no longer in first-team plans at Stamford Bridge, the Spanish international had said he could re-join Atletico Madrid this summer and be immediately loaned out.
“Milan are a fantastic club, with an impressive history,” Costa told reporters in the mixed zone, according to journalist Simone Togni, after Spain beat Macedonia 2-1 on Sunday night.
The Rossoneri are said to be on the lookout for a new striker after Manchester United stole a march for Real Madrid striker Alvaro Morata.
