AS claims it has access to the infamous text message Chelsea boss Antonio Conte recently sent to Diego Costa.
Costa suggested after Spain’s 2-2 draw with Colombia on Wednesday that Conte had told him he was no longer needed at Chelsea by SMS.
According to the newspaper, the Italian wrote: “Hello Diego, I hope you’re well. Thank you for the season we had together.
“Good luck for next season, but you’re not in my plans.”
The Blues reportedly rejected an €85m bid from Chinese club Tianjin Quanjian, while Atletico Madrid had a €60m offer turned down.
With this revelation, AS reports the English champions may not be able to demand any more than €30m.
Furthermore, Spain Coach Julen Lopetegui has reportedly informed the 29-year-old that he will wait for him if he returns to Los Colchoneros.
