PSG join James race – report

Paris Saint-Germain have joined the race to sign Real Madrid playmaker James Rodriguez this summer, say reports in Spain.

According to Marca, the French giants are prepared to pay up to €75m for the former Porto and Monaco star, following speculation that both Manchester United and Inter are keen on his signing.

Representatives of the Parisians are alleged to have met with James’ agent in Cardiff in the build-up to Saturday’s Champions League final, where the Colombian did not feature in Madrid’s match day squad.

The report concludes that James – who is training in Murcia with his international teammate  ahead of Colombia’s international friendly clash with Spain – is not yet clear where he will play football next season.

Last week, AS reported the 25-year-old’s future would be concluded after Saturday’s final, although that appears not to be the case.
