Tottenham Hotspur playmaker Christian Eriksen has dropped a strong hint he would consider joining Barcelona should they show ‘concrete interest’.
The 25-year-old is tied to a long-term deal at the North London club until June 2020 and enjoyed a stellar season at White Hart Lane, netting eight league goals in 36 matches.
"I've been there [on trial as a teenager] at one point, and it didn't work out too well," Eriksen told Danish media outlet Ekstra Bladet.
"But Barcelona is a fantastic club – I don't think there a lot of players who would say no to Barcelona.
"But there is 'interest' and then there is concrete interest. Until there is some concrete interest, I don't have an opinion about it.
"In the future I see myself at the highest level. That's what I dream about. That could be in two to three years.
"It could be at a different club or it could be at Tottenham, if we have got all the way to that level."
