Simone Zaza’s father has assured that the striker will stay at Valencia this summer, despite reported interest from Milan.
A report in Gazzetta dello Sport claims Milan have revived their interest in Zaza, who is currently in the Northern Italian city with his girlfriend.
Furthermore, Valencia’s €20m permanent deal for the attacker is payable over four years, meaning they can sell him sooner to avoid covering the outlay in full.
Nonetheless, his father Antonio told Superdeporte: “No, it’s not like that.
“Simone will stay at Valencia, he’s happy there.”
The 25-year-old initially joined Los Che on loan back in January and scored six goals in La Liga, including a wonder strike against champions Real Madrid.
