Sevilla have reached an €8m agreement for the transfer of Boca Juniors striker Dario Benedetto, according to reports.
Argentinean station Radio Mitre report a deal has been struck between the two clubs and the deal will go through at the end of the Argentine league season.
Benedetto has been in fine goalscoring form this campaign, netting 16 goals in 20 league starts for Boca after joining from Mexican outfit America last year.
Reports suggest initial contact was made on the behest of former Sevilla Coach Jorge Sampaoli – who is now on his way to becoming Argentina national team manager – but the Andalucians remain keen to continue with the negotiations.
The 27-year-old holds dual Argentine-Mexican nationality and is one of the highest rated players in South America.
