Alaves Coach Mauricio Pellegrino admits his future has already been decided and that it could be made public as early as Monday.
The Argentine has enjoyed a remarkable debut season at the Mendizorrotza Stadium, leading the newly-promoted club to a top-half finish and to the Copa Del Rey final.
However, his future has been the subject of much speculation in recent weeks – AS have linked him with a move to Sevilla while Marca believe England could be his next destination.
"I'll talk about my future next week, if possible on Monday but the decision on my future has already been taken," Pellegrino is quoted as saying by Marca.
"It has been a wonderful year- I have worked this season doing all the things that others don't want to do.
“We have been playing at the limit of our potential and have been rewarded accordingly, this team plays naturally and this has shown in our football.
"This club needs to survive and develop, to do that they must remain in La Liga, of course the club isn't going to go crazy with their spending but it certainly needs to remain in the division for a few years.”
