Atletico Madrid President Enrique Cerezo has affirmed that Antoine Griezmann will still be at the club next season.
Griezmann recently suggested joining Manchester United was a “6/10” chance and that his future would be decided soon, but Cerezo made it clear he envisaged the attacker leading Atleti into their new stadium.
“Copa Del Rey Final? It was a magnificent finale for this stadium, but life goes on and we have to evolve,” he said after the game.
“Griezmann? He’ll stay, not here at the Calderon, but at the Wanda [Metropolitano].”
