Marco Verratti would find an approach from Barcelona too hard to turn down despite being happy at Paris Saint-Germain, say reports in Spain.
According to El Mundo Deportivo, the Italian international told his teammates that whilst he is content in the French capital but he ‘dreams’ of playing alongside Lionel Messi and Andres Iniesta.
The report continues that both Chelsea and Bayern Munich are also interested in the 24-year-old’s signature, but a move to anywhere other than the Camp Nou looks extremely unlikely.
A lot will depend upon the new Barca Coach’s ideas although the media outlet believes the most likely transfer targets will be Verratti and Liverpool attacker Philippe Coutinho.
The midfielder is now set to go on holiday to Ibiza to consider his future while he waits to hear from his Donato Di Campli regarding any potential suitors, the report concludes.
