Real Madrid full-back Danilo is set to leave the club this summer to join Italian giants Inter, according to a report in Spain.
According to Cadena Ser and Marca, the Nerazzurri have made a proposal for the Brazilian international and his ‘future lies at the San Siro’.
The 25-year-old has failed to make a positive impression at the Bernabeu since joining from FC Porto in the summer of 2015 for €31.5m.
Danilo has made only 25 appearances for Los Blancos in a busy season and has often missed apparent votes of confidence from boss Zinedine Zidane, who has deployed central defenders out of position rather than starting him on occasions.
Initially signed to compete for the right-back slot along with Dani Carvajal, his two-year spell in Spain looks to be over and he could be joined at Inter by fellow Madrid defender Pepe, who is out of contract this summer.
