Highly-coveted Real Betis midfielder Dani Ceballos has appeared to commit his future to the club by stating “my future is here.”
The 20-year-old turned in a sensational performance in Sunday’s 1-1 draw with Atletico Madrid – who are said to be among the playmaker’s suitors – and opened the scoring with a volley.
"The thing I'm focused on now is the game against Sporting and concentration on the under-21, which we intend to win,” Ceballos is quoted as saying by AS following the match.
“From that point is where things will start to happen but I have three years on my contract with Betis and my future is here.
"It was my most complete match because I scored, did well and ran until the very last minute. The team left with a very good taste in their mouth.
“The fans have to be left with a good taste in their mouth and because of that we gave everything. We probably should have won the game. Hopefully, next season we start like that from the first minute.
"I have always had a great relationship with Alexis (Trujillo, the caretaker Coach at Betis) so I’m really happy he’s in such a prominent role.”
