Andres Iniesta believes Juventus full-back Dani Alves was one of the best foreign imports Barcelona ever made, ahead of his return to the Camp Nou.
The Barca captain was questioned about his former team-mates importance during his spell with the Blaugrana, where he made 391 appearances across eight seasons before departing for the Bianconeri last summer.
“For me, Dani was one of the best foreign additions the club ever made,” explained Iniesta ahead of the tie.
“In terms of performance and everything he provided us with, he was perfect. That will not change, but he has taken another path and is doing great in Italy.
“With our squad and the team-mates we have, we all give 200% – it is not that I don’t want him to come back, it’s just that I think the situation has changed.
“So therefore I would not exchange any of my team-mates for him.”
Alves is expected to start for the Italian champions as they aim to protect a 3-0 lead obtained from last week’s match in Turin.
