Inter Milan are lining up a move to bring Atletico Madrid Coach Diego Simeone to the San Siro next season, according to reports.
Italian sports paper Gazzetta dello Sport state the Nerazzurri are willing to offer their former player an annual wage of €10-11m to lure him away from the Spanish capital.
Cholo has made the switch from Los Rojiblancos to Inter Milan once before, as a player in 1997, while his son Giovanni is currently in Genoa’s squad as a forward.
Despite current Inter boss Stefano Pioli stabilising the club’s season he is reportedly not viewed as a long-term option and is likely to be replaced should a deal be possible with the Argentine.
Simeone has been in the hot seat at Vicente Calderon since 2011 and has guided them to two Champions League finals and their 2014 La Liga triumph.
