Ronaldo ‘wants another Bayern double’

Cristiano Ronaldo is eyeing two more goals against Bayern Munich but expects April to be a “complicated” month for Real Madrid.

Ronaldo reached 100 European goals with his brace in the Allianz Arena and as well as celebrating the landmark, recalled the match when speaking to Los Blancos’ official site.

“I thought it was going to be a difficult match before going on the pitch, that Bayern would go hard in the game,” the forward said.

“But after they missed the penalty, I was convinced the team would be encouraged and the second half was going to be ours.

“It was me who scored, but it could have been another player. I’d describe the goals very simply: awesome. They were special because we were losing and it was difficult to come back.

“We did it again and I was very happy for scoring two goals because it helped Madrid win. Hopefully there’ll be another double at Santiago Bernabeu.

“We have a small advantage and I hope the fans will be with us because it’s going to be a difficult battle. Hopefully we’ll win and reach the Semi-Final.

“The Coach has managed it well, with rotations, and we are prepared for the final stretch.”
