Diego Simeone believes the Atletico Madrid-Leicester City Champions League Quarter-Final will be decided in the second leg.
Leicester go to Vicente Calderon for the first leg of the last eight meeting but Cholo told a Press conference that the tie will be settled in England.
“I can’t imagine a match with a great result for either team because of their intensity and concentration. They will be hard-fought games and surely it will be resolved on their turf,” Simeone said, Marca reports, before he addressed the suggestion these are two similar teams.
“I don’t think they give up the ball. They choose the football best for them because of the characteristics of their players. In attack they have very direct and precise football with intensity. That’s what took them to Europe.
“Football is wonderful. No one has the right or the truth to how to play. There are different styles, and ours is humility and hard work, working as a team and competing in every competition has led us to define a style.
“Maybe they looked to us as a model. We’ve always based it on the players we have had and we have grown from there.”
