Cristiano Ronaldo, Gareth Bale and Toni Kroos have all been rested by Real Madrid for their midweek La Liga trip to Leganes.
The trio have been given a night off as the club embarks on a run of nine fixtures in 28 days ahead of Saturday’s Madrid derbi clash with Atletico.
Ronaldo is one booking away from a suspension while Bale has not yet fully recovered from an ankle injury. Former Bayern Munich midfielder Kroos has started 22 La Liga games this season.
Madrid right-back Dani Carvajal, born in Leganes, has been named in the squad despite also being one yellow card away from a suspension.
It is thought that Zinedine Zidane could hand starts to Alvaro Morata, Isco and James Rodriguez for the clash at Butarque.
Los Blancos lead the standings by two points having played a game less than title rivals Barcelona, while Leganes sit five points above the drop zone.
