Napoli are reportedly planning a €20m swoop for Villarreal winger Samu Castillejo this summer.
According to Marca, Napoli are keeping a close eye on Castillejo, who “has taken a step forward” at Villarreal this season.
Subsequently, the Italians are willing to invest €20m in the left-footed right-sider as they believe he will adapt quickly due to the Spanish contingent currently on their books.
Napoli were managed by Spaniard Rafa Benitez between 2013 and 2015, with Pepe Reina, Raul Albiol and Jose Callejon among his signings still at the club.
Castillejo, 22, joined the Yellow Submarine from Malaga for €8m in 2015 and has started 19 games in La Liga to date in 2016-17 – as many as he did in all of last term.
