The agent of Lyon striker Alexandre Lacazette has denied claims in Spain he has agreed a move to Atletico Madrid this summer.
Cadena Cope reported the striker and his agent David Venditelli had travelled to the Spanish capital to agree terms with Atletico chief executive Miguel Angel Gil last month and a verbal agreement had been reached, which has now been denied.
Venditelli is quoted by Le Progres newspaper denying that he and the 25-year-old striker had made the trip to Spain nor reached any agreement while also claiming "other clubs than Atletico but of the same standing in Europe are interested in Lacazette."
The French club’s president Jean-Michel Aulas claimed earlier this season they had received a €70m bid for Lacazette, who has been linked with English trio Arsenal, Liverpool and West Ham.
