Chelsea star Eden Hazard is a priority signing for Real Madrid following the expected departures of Isco and James Rodriguez, claim Spanish reports.
Cadena Cope’s Tiempo de Juego show reports the Belgian is Madrid’s number one target this summer – he has been on the radar of the club for many years but now that it is expected Isco will depart this summer, the programme states Los Blancos would be willing to let James join the London club in an exchange deal.
The 26-year-old Belgian moved to Stamford Bridge from Ligue 1 side Lille and has scored 65 goals in 234 appearances, winning one league title in 2015, but the reports claim he is 'delighted' at the prospect of playing for the Champions League holders.
Isco’s contract at the Bernabeu expires in 2018 and contract talks have stalled, with Zinedine Zidane admitting he may leave the club this summer due to lack of playing time.
James recently stated he wanted to remain with Madrid for ‘many years’ but had previously been linked with a move away from the club, again due to lack of playing time, with Antonio Conte’s side among the leading contenders for his signature.
