Real Madrid are eyeing up a move for Napoli midfielder Piotr Zielinski, who they will come up against in the Champions League later this month.
Zielinski only joined the Neapolitans last year from Udinese in a €16m deal and has developed into one of Europe’s hottest properties, with AS reporting that Zinedine Zidane’s men would be keen on a future deal for the 22-year-old.
The report also links English duo Chelsea and Liverpool to the Polish midfielder, who has a €70m release clause at the Stadio San Paolo.
Having starred for two seasons in a loan deal with Empoli, Zielinski has netted three goals in 24 appearances for Napoli this campaign and has won 21 caps for Poland.
Real Madrid host the Italian giants in the Champions League last 16 on the 15th February at the Bernabeu before a trip to Naples three weeks later.
