It is reported that Manchester City are ready to listen to offers for Sergio Aguero, with Real Madrid interested.
The 28-year-old has been a pivotal figure for the Premier League side since joining from Atletico Madrid in 2011, helping the club win two League titles.
However, AS claim that having recently signed Gabriel Jesus, City may decide that this summer is the right time to cash in on their prized asset.
It is said that manager Pep Guardiola wants to bring in a more youthful forward who would be able to cope with the demands of his high-pressing style – something that Aguero struggles to do.
As such, the door could be open for Los Blancos to make their move. The European champions are known to be long-term admirers of the Argentine, who has scored 18 goals in 25 matches in all competitions this season.
