Hernandez completes Malaga deal

Malaga have completed the transfer of Leicester City’s Luis Hernandez less than seven months after the full-back joined the English champions.

The 27-year-old moves to La Rosaleda for a reported fee of €2m having made only four Premier League appearances for the Foxes, who he joined for free from Sporting Gijon last summer.

"The club thanks Luis for his contribution during his time at Leicester City Football Club and wishes him all the very best for the future,” read a Leicester City statement.

Another Leicester player who may be moving to La Liga is striker Leonardo Ulloa who reportedly will hand in a transfer request after an offer from Alaves was rejected by the English club.

Sky sports reported an offer in the region of €3m was seen as derisory by Claudio Ranieri’s side, although it is unlikely the Basque club can offer significantly more.
