Alaves Coach Mauricio Pellegrino is adamant his side still have work to do if they are to secure their LaLiga status.
The Basque side have impressed in their first season back in Spain's top flight, sitting 10 points clear of the relegation zone at the halfway point of the campaign.
However, as his players prepare to take on Leganes this afternoon, the Argentine tactician believes his players can take nothing for granted.
"There are still a lot of hurdles we have to overcome," Pellegrino told reporters. "We are still very far away from achieving our aim.
"The match [against Leganes] is a very important one and will be very difficult. I hope the game has a lot of rhythm, we can manage the ball well in their half and that our best players have a good afternoon in front of goal."
Former defender Pellegrino then praised Alaves fans for their unconditional support of the team.
"The behaviour of the fans with the team during difficult moments is incredible, hopefully we can transmit the same thing."
