Kolodziejczak set for Gladbach

Sevilla defender Timothee Kolodziejczak is set for a move to German Bundesliga side Borussia Monchengladbach, it is reported.

The 25-year-old is set to join the Gladbach – who finished third in Barcelona’s Champions League group this season – on a deal worth around €7.5m, according to reports in Yahoo Sport and German media outlet Kicker.

Last month, Kolodziejczak explained he wished for a move away from the club after falling out of favour under new boss Jorge Sampaoli. (http://www.football-espana.net/62036/kolodziejczak-wants-move-away)

The former French youth international moved to Estadio Sanchez Pizjuan in 2014 after spells with Lyon and Nice in France, before going on to make 50 appearances for the Andalucians and winning Europa League titles in each of his two full seasons at the club.

Reports in AS and Estadio Deportivo suggest the French defender could be the first of several players to leave Sevilla over January with the futures of David Soria, Benoit Tremoulinas and Hiroshi Kiyotake all undecided.
