Ronaldo – I have 10 years left

Cristiano Ronaldo has ruled out retiring at the end of his new Real Madrid contract, insisting he has ten years left of playing football.

The Portuguese star's new deal at the Bernabeu takes him up to 2021 with the club, when he will be a 36-year-old, but he insists that he aims to continue playing for at least another five years.

"I'm happy here and want to stay here, but this will not be my last deal in football," Ronaldo said at the press conference to celebrate his new deal.

"I want to play until I'm 41; I met Di Stéfano here who told me – ‘Continue like this champion, you're the greatest’”

“I have ten years of football left in me – I can’t confirm that I’ll be at Real Madrid in my 40s, I can't play here forever, wheter they want me or not."
