Moya returns to training

Atletico Madrid goalkeeper Miguel Angel Moya will return to full-time training less than three months after undergoing knee surgery.

The 32-year-old underwent arthroscopic surgery on his right knee on 11 August but has now been given the all-clear to return to training with the first team, where he is expected to provide competition for first-choice goalkeeper Jan Oblak.

Moya had been the number one goalkeeper at the Calderon in the 2014-15 campaign but after suffering an injury late in the campaign he lost his place to the Slovenian, who has kept the preference since.

The former Mallorca, Valencia and Getafe goalkeeper last appeared for Los Rojiblancos in January's 3-2 Copa Del Rey defeat to Celta Vigo.
