Malaga midfielder Ignacio Camacho has revealed he wants to renew his current contract but the club are 'not hurrying' on the deal.
The 26-year-old had looked set to leave Los Boquerones this summer after the club agreed a deal with West Bromwich Albion, which later collapsed over the payment structure within the deal.
"The negotiation process has started, but the club don't seem to be in any great hurry to complete the deal, although I am calm," Camacho told Marca.
"I would love to renew and for the club to recognise my hard work and commitment, I am happy here and don't want to leave.
"It was a complicated situation (a summer move) as I was not informed of anything that was really going on and in the end it was in the hands of the clubs involved.
"There are always rumours and movements but the reality is I'm here and I don't want to move."
