Brazilian defender Marquinhos has dismissed rumours of a move to Barcelona as he ‘wants to make his life in Paris’.
The 22-year-old has become a regular in the French champions side after the departure of David Luiz, striking up a partnership with compatriot Thiago Silva in the heart of the PSG defence.
"An offer from Barcelona? PSG have always had great faith in me," he told Canal Football Club.
"Towards the end of last season, I started to get more game time.
"Would I say no to Barcelona? I have no need to tell them anything, because PSG will not sell me.
"Could I join the Catalans later? For now, I want to make my life in Paris if everything continues like this. I am really good in Paris right now."
