Emery: Jese needs time

PSG boss Unai Emery is confident new signing Jese Rodriguez will settle at the club after a sluggish start to his spell in the French capital.

Emery – a long-time admirer of the playmaker who tried to acquire him on several occasions whilst at Sevilla – has defended the summer signing from Real Madrid, who has made just one start for his new club since his summer move.

"He's working well but he still hasn't found a house he likes," the former Valencia and Sevilla boss explained on Cadena Cope.

"He needs to settle in and that's just a question of time, his reaction (to being substituted) was just frustration and that's natural."

The manager was also questioned about his club's alleged attempts to persuade Barca star Neymar to move to Paris.

"I'm more than happy with my squad and our project will be vindicated in the next results rather than by any star signings," he responded.
