Sevilla full-back Gabriel Mercado believes his side's defensive efforts ensures their Champions League point in Turin was merited.
Mercado was part of the defence which kept out a star-studded Juventus attacking line-up to guarantee a point for Jorge Sampaoli's side in Italy.
"The draw gives the feeling that the effort was worthwhile," the 29-year-old said after the match, where he was up against fellow Argentine Paulo Dybala and Gonzalo Higuain.
"We are satisfied to come away with a draw from a very difficult venue, there is a long way to go in the group but this is a good start.
"It was important not to leave spaces against world class attackers so it was tough, and we can improve from this match."
