Marca: ‘Isco only wants Malaga’

It is reported that Isco would only consider leaving Real Madrid to re-join former club Malaga on loan.

The 24-year-old has been told he can look for a temporary move elsewhere, having seemingly been usurped in the Los Blancos pecking order by Marco Asensio. He also appears to be behind James Rodriguez, Lucas Vasquez and Mateo Kovacic.

Premier League side Tottenham Hotspur have been heavily linked with the midfielder, but Spanish daily Marca claim that Isco would prefer to head back to the Boquerones.

According to the report, the player would not be unhappy to stay at Santiago Bernabeu and fight for a place in Zinedine Zidane’s starting line-up, retaining faith that the French Coach would give him the opportunity to do so.

However, in the event that he does leave, Isco is said to favour a move to a club that he already knows well and where he is held in high regard.

In addition, Malaga appear set to lose Ignacio Camacho to West Bromwich Albion, leaving a vacancy in the midfield that Isco could fill.
